Due to the diversity in his training, Dr. Omar is proficient in different treatment approaches including extraction, non-extraction and orthognathic surgery. Moreover, he uses a variety of appliances including Damon Braces, Invisalign and mini implants. He is also a Wilckodontics Certified Professional offering accelerated osteogenic orthodontics that ensures a speedy treatment.

Dr Omar believes that the face is a window to the soul and everyone deserves a beautiful smile that will open more doors for them in life. He loves being a part of the transformation that helps patients have a wonderful smile while maintaining the natural beauty of their teeth. What brings Dr Omar immense joy is seeing his patients’ first smile after the treatment is complete. “The planning, the effort, the time, the team support are all rewarded at this moment,” he declares. Dr Omar considers himself to be privileged to be a part of that journey where you get to meet wonderful people.

Dr Omar states that in this digital era of orthodontics we will see more customisation of orthodontic appliances for each patient, and their faster availability in clinics as software and 3D printers advance. He reveals this will improve treatment efficiency, reduce treatment length and improve patient comfort.

When he isn’t treating patients on the dental chair, Dr Omar likes to stay active by playing a variety of sports, mainly football, squash and water-skiing. He also likes being close to nature. “There is nothing more calming and peaceful than camping in the desert,” he declares. The advice he’d like to give his patients is that there are different types of malocclusions in orthodontics, and some require early intervention, as early as 7 years of age. He asserts that one should visit the orthodontist to know when the best time is to start treatment. While it’s never too late to start orthodontic treatment, Dr Omar believes that better timing allows for more options, fewer complications and optimum results.
