Dr. Layal Ksaybi graduated from the renowned McGill University in Montreal, Canada, in 2012. She is extremely proficient in general dentistry and has a specific interest in cosmetic dentistry and oral surgery. She is committed to providing her patients with healthy, natural-looking smiles. Being dedicated to staying up to date on everything related to the world of dentistry, Dr. Layal Ksaybi later completed an Implant Dentistry Program at both the International Misch Implant Institute and the California Implant Institute, as well as successfully completing graduate studies in Healthcare Management. She is a member of the Royal College of Dentists in Canada, the Ordre des Dentistes du Quebec, as well as the Academy of General Dentistry.
Opting for a conservative and preventive approach to dentistry, Dr. Layal prides herself on educating and motivating her patients to stay on top of their oral hygiene. She brings her enthusiasm to every appointment, whether it’s major dental surgery or a routine appointment. Dr. Layal Ksaybi strongly believes in prevention and in functional, rather than conventional, dentistry.
“I find it extremely fulfilling to see a patient smile again or get out of pain,” she says. “My favorite part of dentistry is really creating that trusted, long-lasting relationship with the patient and with their families and friends.”
Dr. Layal Ksaybi is fluent in English, Arabic, and French.
I can’t believe I’m confessing to this, but I’m a dentist who gets anxious about going to the dentist. I really love being a dentist, but I understand that certain procedures can get tough sometimes. So what if I can create an amazing dental experience for my patients that I, myself, would enjoy if I were them? No pressure. No judgment. Just smiles. That’s my drive.
Dr. Layal Ksaybi is of Syrian origin but has spent most of her life between Canada and the UAE. Having moved permanently to sunny Dubai in 2018, away from the cold winters of Montreal, Dr. Layal Ksaybi likes to spend most of her free time enjoying the sun at the beach, rollerblading, hiking the RAK mountains, or cycling along the desert tracks. “I love the diverse cultures you come across in Dubai, along with the different cuisines and experiences you get to discover! Life is safe and comfortable here and you truly do feel it.” She also loves to travel and explore whenever the opportunity arises – “I’ve done most of the US and Northern Canada, Europe, as well as many of the Caribbean Islands. The next stop is exploring Asia!”
